Port Discovery: A Must-Visit Place in Baltimore

Port Discovery is one of children's museums in Baltimore, an oasis designed for children from 2 to 10 where they can play, learn, exercise their creativity and expand their minds. This is one of the best five children's museums in the United States according to Child Magazine.

A non-profit organization merging with the Maryland Children's Museum, Port Discovery offers a range of programs for kids. Permanent Exhibits include Adventure Expeditions, Exploramora: Down at the Farm and Royal Farms Convenience Store and Fill'er Up Station.

Port Discovery will admit members and kids under 2 for free, and nonmembers up to 2 need to spend $12.95 in purchasing admission tickets. Maryland Zoo members used to have a special admission offer. Box office is available half an hour before the close hour of the museum while the operating time of Port Discovery varies from period to period, so that tourists need to keep a close eye on their time schedule.

The museum grants group discounts to social and civic groups such as scouts, summer camps and religious groups. The time availability and discount granted varies with the nature of each group. Thanks to the support of the State of Maryland and other organizations, school group visits are also made possible.

Membership at the Port Discovery Children's Museum is a gifted idea which will provide access to a stimulating experience for 12 months a year. There are many types of memberships: family membership, corporate membership and gift membership. In some time of year, members will get special offer.

This is the exact place for children to ignite imagination, inspire learning and nurture growth through playing and to develop in them the passion to study all through their life.
